Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a 1,137-acre public garden and research facility located in Chanhassen, Minnesota. The Arboretum’s mission is to “improve the quality of life by connecting people with plants.” The Arboretum accomplishes this through four main programs: horticulture, education, conservation, and research.

The Horticulture program features over 4,000 varieties of plants, including trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and bulbs. The Education program offers classes and workshops for all ages on topics such as gardening, plant science, and nature photography. The Conservation program works to protect and restore native habitats, as well as to educate the public about the importance of conservation. The Research program conducts studies on topics such as plant hardiness and invasive species.
